Whole Milk

We gave Chayse some whole milk a few days before her first birthday. We were worried that her tummy would have a hard time adjusting to the difference, but she did just fine. I think she liked it!

Balloons

Chayse and I went to the grocery store earlier today. Kevin's sister Kristine works in the pharmacy so she got Chayse a balloon. Chayse loves her balloon. She has carried it around all day. She will not let go of it. Here's proof.

Dancing

Kevin's phone died the a while ago so his brother let Kevin use one of his old ones. It had some music on it and Chayse just loved it. Here are some of her moves. Don't get too jealous!

Christmas 2009

Christmas was so fun this year. It was our first we got to spend with Chayse. Kids make things so much more fun don't they? Grandma and Grandpa Williams, Aunt Julie and Aunt Erin were all able to come have Christmas with us also. It was great. There are a lot of pictures in this post so be prepared!

Christmas Eve at Uncle Jake's house. As you can tell, it was a blast! Maybe more for some than others.

The Christmas tree after Santa left. What can I say? We were really good this year!

This is Chayse at nine o'clock Christmas morning. That's right, I said nine o'clock! She never sleeps this late. I guess she did not know what was waiting for her downstairs...

...But she soon found out. Santa must not be that bad of a guy after all!

Caught ya! Sneaking from stockings will land you on the naughty list! We'll let you slide this time.

We thought she would be excited to receive a baby doll. Who cares about the doll!?! The doll had a binky.....

And her favorite present of Christmas 2009..........(which wasn't even hers by the way)...........

Julie's rubber spatula!!

Dang, we could have done that a lot cheaper.

Kelly's Birthday 2009

I'm officially closer to 30 than 20 now. Depressing? Yes. At least I had these cuties to keep me company and make my day fun.

We had dinner at Red Lobster. Yummy! Our server turned out to be Jana Lemming, a girl I went to high school with. She took care of us and Chayse even got to hang out in the kitchen with the cooks. Not sure that is legal, but whatever. The last time we were at Red Lobster was the day before Chayse was born. I remember when we left and older couple was coming in and the husband said they might as well leave because, "it looks like you ate the whole menu honey!" Point of advice here...never say that to a pregnant woman. She will not find it funny.

After dinner we went to the mall. Santa was there and we thought it would be fun to get a picture for Chayse's first Christmas. I'm not quite sure she liked Santa...what do you think?

It was a great birthday. I'm glad I got to spend it with my favorite people.
